01Are your quotes really fixed price?
Yes, for extensions, garage conversions and driveways your written quote is a fixed price. Developer groundworks (labour only) are priced on a day rate because materials are ordered by the developer.
02Do you handle building control and planning?
Yes. Building control is handled by Humphries Construction on new projects, or we can take over communication if you've already appointed. Planning applications are managed start-to-finish when you use our in-house architect.
03How much deposit is required and how do I pay?
Extensions take a deposit on signing and then stage payments through the job. Garage conversions take a deposit on signing with the balance on completion. Payment is bank transfer only, no cards or cash.
04How quickly can you start?
A free site survey is usually within 7 days, a written quote within 3 days (up to 7 working days for complex projects), and works typically start 4–8 weeks after contract signing.
05Do you use employed staff or subcontractors?
Every job is owner-led and brings in a long-standing team of trusted subcontractors on a per-project basis. Every trade is fully trained and carries their own insurance.
06Do you cover my area?
